  Whenever I walk by on the sidewalk, it always smells terrible and there's always some spiked balls that are constantly falling from the tree getting all over the sidewalk that always ruins your shoes if you aren't paying attention and accidentally step on it, and it seems as if no one from the church bothers to clean up all the crap on the sidewalk that fell from their trees.

  I just moved to the east bay from Cincinnati, OH, and have truly found SJV a welcoming and spirited community. The preaching is first-rate, insightful and challenging, and there are a plethora of ways to get involved. Highly recommended for those exploring a new parish community.

  This Church tends to lean left, politically. If that bothers you, you should attend St. Mary's nearby.
